Scotland, June 2016: with Gordon and Rosie

Culzean Castle
Our first stop in Scotland was at Caerlaverock Nature  Reserve the Solway Forth. Famous for the Barnacle Geese in winter but now nice for reed birds etc.

We visited Rosie and Gordon Riddle who had been in Cabo Verde at a neighbour's house. Gordon was the first birder to look at my bird pictures there.

We invaded the Gordon's house and they made us feel at home. We had so much in common and to talk about. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Rosie and Gordon!
