Thailand, Christmas 2016, 1

Guided by Tony (the Eagle Eye! and a great bird guide!) we had great sightings on our second day in Khao Yai N.P.. On the first day, when we were alone,  we saw three birds, - in a park that has more than 300!! Now we saw many more, and some spectacular ones!! Details will follow later!

Banded Kingfisher (Lacedo pulchella), very difficult to see in the jungle. It hunts on dry land!
